Geospatial Queries on Data Collection Using a Common Provenance Model

چکیده
Lineage information is the part of metadata that describes “what”, “when”, “who”, “how”, and “where” geospatial data were generated. If it well-presented queryable, lineage becomes very useful for inferring quality, tracing error sources increasing trust in information. In addition, if a collection datasets can be related presented together, datasets, process chains, methodologies compared. This paper proposes extending step descriptions into four explicit levels abstraction (process run, tool, algorithm functionality). Including functionalities as provides high-level independent from details software used. the aim of this thesis is an approach for assessing insurer’s solvency for iranian insurance companies. we use of economic data with both time series and cross-sectional variation, thus by using the panel data model will survey the insurer solvency.
Geospatial Data Integration with Linked Data and Provenance Tracking
We report on our experiences with integrating geospatial datasets using Linked Data technologies. We describe NeoGeo, an integration vocabulary, and an integration scenario involving two geospatial datasets: the GADM database of Global Administrative Areas and NUTS, the Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics. We identify the need for provenance to be able to correctly interpret query ...
متن کاملExploring RDF/S Evolution using Provenance Queries
The evolution of ontologies is an undisputed necessity in current research community. The problem of understanding this evolution is a fundamental problem as, based on this understanding, maintainers of depending artifacts need to take a decision about possible changes. Moreover, as ontologies are often developed by several ontology engineers, it is also important for them to understand what ch...
متن کاملInteractive Inference of SPARQL Queries Using Provenance
Inference of queries from their output examples has been extensively studied in multiple contexts as means to ease the formulation of queries. In this paper we propose a novel approach for the problem, based on provenance. The idea is to use provenance in two manners: first as an additional information that is associated with the given examples and explains their rationale; and then again as a ...
متن کاملIntegrative Environmental Queries Using Geospatial Web Services
The paper explores the use of geospatial web services for querying and analytical functions on distributed heterogeneous biological databases. A case study and web service implementation was tested on biological collections in Australia. Open geospatial specifications for web services were adequate for the test implementation, although some performance issues on XML-encoded data were identified...
